Abstract

Due to COVID-19 and restrictive policies on the gambling industry, Macau's economy, which is dominated by the gambling industry, has shown a negative growth trend in the last two years. In order to help Macau's economic recovery, finding new methods is an essential stage, and parent-child family travel as a popular trend, is undoubtedly a measure worth considering. This report will analyze the characteristics of Macau's tourism industry and the introduction of parent-child family travel, and analyze whether parent-child family travel can become an alternative tourism type to complement the major gaming industry in Macau from the perspective of SWOT, and finally present a plan about parent-child family travel in Macau.
