Abstract

There are some problems in music teaching in Chinese colleges and universities, and we can take a series of countermeasures and suggestions to solve these problems and improve the quality of music teaching. Firstly, updating the teaching content is necessary. We should strengthen the education of diversified music genres, not only limited to classical music, but also focusing on other music forms such as pop music and ethnic music. At the same time, combining with the trend of the times, we should pay attention to cultivating students' music creation and performance ability, so that they can adapt to the development needs of the times. Secondly, innovative teaching methods are also key. The traditional lecture-type teaching mode can no longer meet the needs of students, and we should introduce modern technical means to improve the teaching effect. Finally, strengthening the cultivation and selection of teachers is also the key to solve the problem.
