Abstract

English has become an important part of the university curriculum. The purpose of this paper is to explore the influence on college English classroom in the era of diversity. This paper mainly analyzes the opportunities and challenges faced by college English classroom under the multicultural background, and puts forward corresponding solutions on the basis of the analysis. This paper concludes that, under the influence of multicultural background, whether a university can stand out in the top education level, its teaching concept, teaching level, teaching methods are its stepping stones. Multicultural era to college English teachers and English classroom has brought new knowledge and teaching methods, at the same time for teachers, students and schools put forward new problems, in the face of how to innovate education, how to improve the teaching method, how to on the basis of book knowledge introduced new education equipment and education facilities, more even introduce many education culture, etc., these are multicultural era under the background of teachers, students, school has brought great challenge.
