Abstract

Face recognition technology is a biometric recognition technology based on computer technology to identify people's facial features. When modern intelligent societies commonly use machine "face authentication" to prove individual identity, this common behavior will bring various risks, including the risk of the technology itself and the social risks of technology abuse. From the perspective of governance, the construction of a governance framework that includes ethical principles and a technology monitoring mechanism can timely reduce or even resolve the harm that technology can do to society and individuals, and reflecting the humanistic orientation of the "good use" of technology.
